Add-on for Tasklet Mobile WMS on Business Central

Pallet-level control,
one scan at a time.

G2I Tasklet WMS Extension makes the license plate the unit of work on your handheld scanners. Operators scan a pallet label and the system fills in item, lot, expiration date, quantity and bin, validates them, posts the transaction and prints the next label.

Tasklet Mobile WMS + Get2Insight

Tasklet runs your handheld scanners. Get2Insight adds pallet-level control on top, built on Tasklet’s published extension events.

The problem

Your goods move as pallets. Your scanner should too.

Food, feed and other lot-controlled manufacturers move most of their goods as whole pallets, but standard handheld flows still ask operators to think in bins, lots and quantities.

Typing on the dock

Receiving staff key in bins and license plates by hand.

Checking by eye

Pickers judge lot status and expiry themselves.

Entering it twice

Production re-enters lots and dates the system already knows.

History that vanishes

When a pallet ships, its record disappears with it.

The result is slow scanning, keying errors, held or expired stock leaving the building, and no answer to “what exactly was on that pallet?” G2I Tasklet WMS Extension fixes this by making the license plate the unit of work.

How it works

From dock to dock, one label

Every step of a pallet’s life in the warehouse is a single scan.

Receive

One license plate and label per pallet, created automatically.

Pick

Scan the pallet. Only the right one can leave.

Produce

Consume by pallet. Output gets its own LP and label.

Repack

New pallets inherit lot and expiry automatically.

Ship & archive

Shipped pallets are archived with their full content.

Highlights

Built for the warehouse floor

Operators only see what matters. The scanner fills in the rest, checks it and posts it.

Receive: pallets in, labels out

No bins or license plates to type.

  • Enter number of pallets × quantity per pallet. One license plate per pallet, each label printed automatically.
  • Finished goods go to the warehouse bin, other materials go to production.
  • Lot numbers default automatically and are generated from the expiration date.
  • Transfers between your own sites keep their pallets. Scan the original LP and every field is filled in.
  • Optional “Back order remaining qty?” closes short-shipped purchase lines on the dock.

Production & repack

Lots, expiry and pallets handled for you.

  • Operators choose their machine center. The lot number is generated from your lot format, the work center and the current shift.
  • Expiration dates are calculated from the item setup.
  • Consume by scanning the pallet. Lot and quantity come from the LP; the whole pallet can be consumed in one scan.
  • Each finished-goods pallet gets a license plate and label as soon as it is posted.
  • A dedicated Repack menu: the pallet coming out inherits its lot and expiration date.

Pick

Only the right pallet leaves the building

Pick by scanning license plates, one line at a time or for the whole order in one scan. Built-in checks block a pallet if:

Its LP or lot status doesn’t allow sale, transfer or consumption
It has expired
Its pallet type doesn’t match what the customer requires
It’s already being picked on another device
  • Full-pallet picking keeps pallets intact and traceable.
  • Pick lists are filtered to your assignments, with search by shipment or delivery trip.
  • If a pallet has been moved, the pick is corrected to its real bin automatically.

Traceability

Every pallet, fully traceable

Always have an answer to “what exactly was on that pallet?”, even long after it shipped.

Every change made on the scanner is tracked

Receipts, picks, moves, splits, pallet type changes, consumption, output and corrections are logged with user, device, bins, lots and quantities.

  • License Plate Archive: pallets emptied by a shipment or correction are archived with their full content, visible on the posted warehouse shipment at any time.
  • Better license plate list: filter by location, item and lot status, with content at a glance.
  • Protection against data loss: license plates can’t be deleted by hand, and corrections keep pallet content in step with inventory.
Pallet tools on the handheld

Everything you do with a pallet

LP Management

Split, combine or top up pallets. Create and label a new pallet on the spot.

Move LP

Move a full pallet with one scan. Lot and expiry always travel with it.

Change Pallet Type

Record a restack onto CHEP, white-wood or heat-treated pallets.

Print LP

Reprint any pallet label, in any quantity. No printer step for operators.

LP lookup

See LP status and pallet type alongside the standard details.

Printing without the friction

  • Label layout and copy count are set per location.
  • The printer comes from standard Business Central Printer Selections.
  • Works with Tasklet’s standard labels and your own ForNAV layouts, with item, lot, expiry, quantity, bin and item reference.

Safe by design

  • New pallets, labels and log entries are only created after a posting succeeds. No phantom pallets.
  • Multi-step changes such as splitting a pallet are all-or-nothing.
  • Built entirely on Tasklet’s published extension events, so Tasklet upgrades stay simple.
